Welcome from the NAPSC Board

Dear NAPSC Racers, Guests And Sponsors,

The 21st anniversary race week was a great success in spite of numbers being down for the year. We expect a big comeback of participants for 2011.

We again raised big dollars for the Winter Sports Programs of Special Olympics. We have now raised over $685,000 to support the equipment and training needs of our athletes. We also raised over $3750 for the Twin Towers Initiative giving us in a few short years a total raised of $41,970 to benefit the new law enforcement museum being built in Washington, DC. As you know our scale replica of the Twin Towers will end up in the new museum in the Hall of Remembrance.

The 22nd event will take place March 12-19, 2011 in Snowmass Village, CO. We have arranged for baby sitters, and added many new guests activities, so bring your families and enjoy a great week in Snowmass. The dates again require a Saturday arrival for a Sunday morning registration. Additionally, those foreign police officers who suffer from a currency exchange of worse than 1-1, will be able to register at an adjusted price and must contact NAPSC prior to registering.

Our race format will again include seed race, GS, super G, and duel-duel for the top 32 qualifying racers.

Lodging information will be posted soon with the proper napsc code to use when booking your accommodations. Again this year, If you find a rate lower than our group rate, Snowmass will honor the lower rate for us.

Please again assist us in bringing items for giveaways, auction, and participants bags. If you have a company that will provide samples, we would truly appreciate their donation. We ask for 300 sample items.

As always, our racers are grouped in 5 year age brackets, gender, and ability. A team must be comprised of at least 2 law enforcement officers from the same department or agency. 3 are required for the Overall Team Award. If you do not care to race, you can join us for a great week of skiing and an opportunity to network with officers from around the world.

So until registration on Sunday, March 13, 2011, Stay in Touch, Stay Safe, and see you on the slopes in 2011.

Sincerely,
Your NAPSC Board of Directors
