NAPSC LogoDEAR NAPSC RACERS, GUESTS, AND SPONSORS,

Our 2008 event at Keystone was another great event with phenomenal weather and great charitable fund raising success! In spite of a smaller than normal crowd your generosity resulted in another $35,000 being raised for charity! The 20th annual event will be March 7-14 2009 at Snowmass, CO. Note that this schedule will require a Saturday arrival for Sunday morning registration with the banquet on the following Friday night. We are working hard to make the 20th a very special event with lots of fun things to do as well as special gifts for everyone. We are holding the cost of registrations and again, Law Enforcement (LE) Skiers and their immediate family members will continue to be afforded a LE registration discount. Additionally, those foreign officers who suffer from a currency exchange rate of worse than 1-1, will be able to register at an adjusted price and must contact NASPC prior to registering.

In addition to our GS, Slalom, Super G and Snowboard races we are again planning to end the week with the fastest 16 racers from the seed race going head to head in a duel- dual format challenge until the fastest skier has been identified and rewarded for his, or her, efforts and skill. It proved to definitely create lots of excitement and add to the great competition and comaradarie we already have. Congratulations to the Coral Gables Ski Team as they were again the Top Fund Raising team this year!

Lodging information has been posted and the Wildwood Lodge remains a very convenient location while great condos are also available in the lower village. Remember, when booking you must identify yourself as being with NAPSC or use our group code "XXX" (TBD). Please note that our room block is only held until February 7 so please be certain to book your lodging early.

We hope you will continue to enjoy the excitement of the charity auction and raffle held during the week and have your department and team recognized with your donation at the closing banquet on Saturday evening. Colorado Special Olympic athletes will again be joining us to challenge you emotionally and physically.

Also please keep in mind our ever increasing need to find door prizes, raffle & charity auction items, and corporate sponsors. Contact us to learn how you can earn a free registration! You may do so through our web site, telephone, or by sending e-mail to us via the established link. Speaking of links, also check out the Internet links to our great sponsors and numerous law enforcement sites for your professional assistance.

As always, our racers are grouped by 5 year age brackets, gender, and ability. A team must be comprised of at least two law enforcement officers from the same department and trhee are required for the Overall team award. Not interested in racing....you can still join us for a great week of skiing and the opportunity to network with fellow officers from around the U.S. and several foreign countries. So until registration on Sunday, March 8, 2009, please stay in touch, and most of all, be safe!
